HKS is exhibiting at interzum Cologne for the first time
The interzum Cologne from May 9-12, 2023 is the world's leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design. The visions and ideas relating to flooring as a product will be the focus of visitors' interest on a special area in the Materials & Nature product segment. Companies from the segment of parquet, solid wood and cork floors, elastic floor coverings as well as LVT or design floors and laminate will present their innovations.
HKS from Münster, Germany, has stood for exceptional know-how and passion for indoor and outdoor wooden floors for almost 190 years. “Our core competence is oak two-ply based on plywood. We will definitely show this at the trade fair, with the focus on our high-quality individual series HKS manufaktur deluxe. We are also showing our young HKS lounge range, the new generation of wooden floors," says authorized signatory and product manager Kalle Dieckmann.

HKS lounge is a new and innovative wooden floor, that is completely made from natural and harmless materials. It combines the sustainability and naturalness of a premium parquet with the durability and easy maintenance of a vinyl floor. The thin and resource-saving oak toplayer, the high quality birch plywood base and the integrated cork underlay underneath, are creating an extremely environmentally friendly floor.

Change of Generation at Heinr. Krüger + Sohn from Münster
Heinr. Krüger + Sohn GmbH & Co. KG, supplier of high-quality wooden floorings and deckings, has been a family business since it was founded in Münster / Germany in 1835 and is now continuing this tradition.
Henrik Krüger, 37, nephew of the previous owner Stephan Krüger, joined as a shareholder at the beginning of 2020 with a minority shareholding and is now the 6th generation to take over all shares as single owner on 01.01.2023.
"I am very grateful and proud to be able to continue the HKS tradition. Together with my team, I want to create fresh impulses and ensure the future of the company," explains Henrik Krüger.
Stephan Krüger, born in 1960, managed the fortunes of the traditional company for more than 25 years. During this time, with a great sense for what is happening in the market, he has turned a planning mill into a well-known international specialist for indoor and outdoor flooring. He will continue to provide his advices and his expertise.
